I love Gravity Training because it is a quick but intense workout for my whole body that I can do at my own level, if I am feeling fit and energetic I can go hard, but if I am having an off day, I can take it a bit easy and still get a good workout. Thanks Janine you rock!

“GP" works well for me because it is local, easy to park, convenient and well-timed. I love the app which allows you to see which sessions are available in any given week, I can plan and book in an instant. The workouts are short but intensive, varied and well-planned to use all muscle groups and cardio. The sessions are friendly, relaxed and supportive, but still put the body through its paces. I have never been interested in going to the gym for fitness. Gravity Plus is so different to that! I love that the class doesn't take much time out of my day (40 minutes). The exercises are challenging but not too much so that I get put off going back the next week. All exercises can be tailored to varying abilities of the small group.
Janine is a lovely person and a fantastic coach who gives great encouragement. I imagine it takes a lot of time to plan the regular changes to the fun workouts to ensure we get a full body conditioning in just a short time.

Come on and get involved in a Gravity Class with Janine! I enjoy my ‘time-out’ having fun and getting fit at the same time with Janine at the Gravity Classes. So Janine and I worked out what I wanted to achieve, once that was done we started with the Gravity Personal Starter Pack which consisted of 2 sessions a week for 3 weeks. We worked on where I needed to build my strength up in my body so we did one day working on the upper body and core, then the second day we worked on the core and the lower part of my body. I was also given exercises to do at home. Doing this programme has helped with my osteoarthritis in some of my joints; and I feel so good after completing the programme and positive. I would like to say that I have always been interested in exercise and being healthy but that is a lie! Until I started going to Circuit class on an early morning and then the evening classes as well. I found it super energizing, a little addictive and a lot of fun. Over a time frame of around 12 months I have lost 17 kilos and I believe circuit played a huge part in that. It got me excited about exercise and making small changes has made a huge difference. I would recommend anyone to give it a try once and then try it again because the classes change every 4 weeks! It’s well worth it. Thanks Janine for bringing these classes to Pirongia

After a lengthy sabbatical from exercise I found the perfect opportunity right here in Pirongia. I felt I needed somebody to guide, encourage, push and inspire me to get back into it. Janine does exactly that. Training on the Total Gym has been great, progress can be felt very soon, what I could not do last week I can do this week. Janine knows exactly how much she can ask of me, I never come away feeling overwhelmed - but always "feel it" and know I had a good workout. My eating habits have also changed - I had to eat more...yeah right....and I'm much more selective with what I eat according to her recommendations. I feel I really am back on track and am looking forward to each session with her!

Having a Personal Trainer is bloody great. The Total Gym is a bloody good system. You get a quicker, all over body workout than normal gym equipment. Each exercise ensures that your core and all your stabilizer muscles are engaged while working out. Working out on the Total Gym is joint safe so very hard to injure yourself. The feeling I get after working out on the Total Gym is so different that normal gym equipment – after a long gym workout I would feel smashed and sore muscles whereas the Total Gym – I feel like I’ve worked every possible muscle in my body and I am not sore which is great. It’s subtle. I am enjoying it.

Janine has been my trainer for the last year. Janine is a great listener and motivator – before starting a new workout program, she really listens to you and takes on board any history surrounding previous injuries, what you want to achieve from your workout, weaknesses, strengths and preferences. All of my programmes have been spot on, challenging me at the level I need to get results while also leaving me with that great post work out feeling as I leave. Last year I started a weight loss programme that involved monitoring my food intake and increased regular exercise. With the program Janine designed for me and in combination with keeping an eye on what I ate, it helped me lose 8 kilos in 12 weeks. Janine is friendly and approachable and you will always be acknowledged with a cheerful hello and a chat anytime you want to talk. She is genuinely interested in what’s happening with you and your family and has such a great positive attitude and sense of humour. Recently I had an operation and Janine rang me the week after to see how I was doing – an example of the kindness and caring she shows her clients. I have absolute trust in her to know what’s right for me and to keep my body safe as she is so knowledgeable about the workings of the body. Knowing that Janine has also recovered from her own surgery to achieve her current fitness level makes her an awesome role model. She uses her own experiences to motivate and inspire. Finally I just want to say that Janine has also been working with my teenage daughter and has spent quality time with her explaining the reason for the exercises she has given her and motivating her to make exercise a regular part of her week. While I’m seen as the “Nagging Mum”, Janine’s firm but fun approach with her is working and I can see my daughter actually beginning to enjoy exercising regularly and understand that feeling fitter and stronger is healthier than being a couch potato.

We are really fortunate to have circuit class in Pirongia. While at times it’s difficult to get myself out the door it has been rewarding to see the progress I have made so far – that’s the motivation!!! I think it adds an element of body strengthening which I don’t get with other forms of exercise I participate in. Core fitness is vital to all other aspects of exercise and will help protect me from injury – we all know how frustrating it is to not be able to exercise! So I love the class, you can go at your own pace but every week you strive to be that little bit better.
